This is your conference! SydStart is run by the community for the community.  Together we are growing the Australian tech and tech enabled startup ecosystem at remarkable rates.  So get involved – this is your event!

Location & Entry Process

  • You must show your ticket to gain entry. Bring a printed copy of your ticket or have our email on your phone or download the eventbrite app and login.
  • Catering is provided subject to final budget. Coffee/tea on arrival. Morning tea. Buffet lunch.
  • All locations are at the Sydney Hilton

Structure of the day

Please feel free to wander around the expo and conference and breakout sessions across all levels (2,3,4) all day.

Main components of the day are -

  • Warm-up – registration, coffee, expo, bump in, casual specialist vertical meet-ups
  • Start – Opening and Wave One keynote Speakers and panels – People Who Have Done Stuff of global significance- Personal Journeys. Inspiration. Tips. First hand insight.
  • Middle – Community announcements, masterclasses, breakouts, expo, demos
  • Afternoon – Wave Two Speakers, Pitching Competition, startup trophy, expo, demos
  • Wrap-up – expo, after party announcements, bump out, thank you to sponsors

Conference Locations and Speakers/Pitchers

  • Runner up Pitch Sessions will be running all day in the demo pit (rear left) and main auditorium (right) – here is the complete google docs list of who is pitching where and when
  • Conference Speakers (agenda below) will be running from 9am to 3:30pm in the main auditorium (right side on entry)
